Strategic Planning
CCGG is guided by its Mission and a Strategic Plan. Under the sponsorship
of the Archstone Grant, CCGG was able to review/update its mission and
further develop and refine its strategic plan. A Draft of a Business
Plan was developed and reviewed by the Board at their meeting in October
of 2006. This plan included an updated mission statement and goals,
as well as a suggested management structure and an analysis of the association’s
opportunities. The Board gave further input to the plan at an all-day
workshop in Sacramento in February of 2007, which was added to the regular
scheduled Board Meeting. A meeting of selected Board Members and advisors
in July of 2007 was used to finalize the Strategic Plan and to develop
working plans for each standing committee of the association to meet
the Strategic Plan Goals. The Strategic Plan guides the actions of the
association.
