CCGG Committee Membership Opportunities

 

 

ALL committees are open to ALL members:

 

Annual Meeting Program:  Chair Nancy Hikoyeda.  This committee meets virtually over the summer to plan the April annual meeting program; assists with speaker selection, invitation, and often plays some role at the annual meeting program.  Email:  nhikoyeda@cs.com 

 

Membership:  Chair Debra Sheets:  This is a major push for us to regain "lost" members, to solicit new members and to develop recruitment materials.

Finance:  Chair:  Karen Lyman.  Assists with fundraising, oversees financial picture for association.  Chair is our Treasurer.

Legislative/Education:  Chair: Janet C. Frank:  This committee is instrumental in developing our legislative hearing; follows up on policy/legislative issues and related work.

Awards:  Chair: Rosalie Gilford:  This committee has developed the awards structure for the association; will review and make recommendations to the Board for any award nominations that are submitted.

Nominating:  Chair: Janet C. Frank (Past President): This committee develops the roster for nominees to fill upcoming vacant board positions, contacts potential nominees for the OK, puts together the election roster, manages the sending out and collection of votes; counts the votes; contacts those who won and didn't; announces new members at Annual meeting.
