Lorie Eber, JD

Lorie Eber earned her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in 1981 and worked in private practice with a San Francisco based law firm for many years. She was a partner in the law firm and moved to Orange County in 2004 to establish and manage the Orange County office for the firm. After 23 years in legal practice, she “retired” and decided to make Gerontology her new career.


In her second career, Ms. Eber earned an online Gerontology Certificate from Coastline Community College, where she now serves as an Adjunct Professor. She is also a State-Certified Ombudsman, and currently holds the position of Ombudsman Training and Recruitment Coordinator for the Council on Aging-Orange County.


Ms. Eber was a member of the Planning Committee for CCGG’s 2007 Annual Meeting and is currently an at-large member of CCGG’s Board of Directors.
